10-13-04- Chestnut branded gelding
He is about 8 yr old and almost 16 hands looked a little under.  Reportedly was shown at Devon - willing, gorgeous and definitely appears to have some extensive training.  His toes are long which caused him to have more knee action than I think he would properly trimmed.  Story was he was ridden by an 8 yr old then family couldn't afford... and he got dumped.
 
He was a little fresh out of a stall but didn't bronc or do anything dirty simply rounded his back a little then as he warmed up softened and he got right to work.  He was willing to take a jump but as it got higher he clipped it with his back feet - was successful with nice form in the lower jumps.

Thank you TB division and to Mike for caring and for saving Kid Ziggy!  This horse was given to a placement agency along with a donation.  It is unclear how he wound up ready to ship to slaughter but this lucky horse had caring people in his past who are helping him to safety.  This horse is so sweet and he would have haunted me forever if he wasn't helped.

Here is the info on the Arabian race horse.  Dale and Edie Raymond came through--bless their hearts.  His name is Ridge--that is it!  He was foaled 5/13/95.  He may have been foaled in FL or DE.  He is by a grey Egyptian sire and a mare of Bask breeding.  The bottom line is known for its speed.

Dale says these horses like this would make excellent endurance horses.  He says they generally only hit 10 races a year or so.  He could have been foaled in Florida or Delaware.  He felt bad about this horse.  If it was a horse he trained out here--he would definitely want it back--but that is just who he and Edie, his wife, are!

* 6) TB gelding star snip over left nostril front white fetlock tattoo looks like I24388 my guess is he is between 15.2 and 15.3 hands.  Super cute and friendly nice mover clean legs and trotted sound.  With his gentle disposition and laid back attitude he would be prospect for lesson program or private home for someone who is looking to bond with a personable horse who enjoys attention.
